KYRO - Programs & Classes

Power Skating: Improve skating technique by focusing on edges, control, power and strength. Open to current hockey skaters.
Figure Skating: Improve your skating technique by concentrating on turns, jumps, spins, and connecting elements. Open to current figure skaters.
Learn to Skate: To provide a fun and safe skating experience for the beginner as well as the more advanced skater. Open to students 5 years of age and older...and to adults too!
Parent & Tot: To provide a fun and safe skating experience for parents and their toddler (5 years of age or younger) and to introduce the toddler to the basics required to eventually move on to Learn to Skate.
Learn to Play Hockey: To provide a fun and safe skating experience and to initiate the beginner in the basics of hockey. Plenty of opportunities for puck handling, drills and playing. Open to those who already know how to skate.

To Enroll in Program

Instructional Fee: $50.00 for each program.
Refund Policy: KYRO will refund your full enrollment fee up to and including the date of the first session.

NOTE: Kootenia Youth Recreation Organization, Inc. (KYRO Arena) collapsed in December due to the record snow fall in our area. Over 40 businesses in North Idaho and the Spokane areas collapsed. We are currently working towards the construction of a new facility (NHL Size sheet) with a projected opening date of September, 2010. Keep checking back for updates.
